Pandemic Perceptions

Giving the reference of Corona doesn't sound to be different as we all are known to , infact we all are well versed to its varied faces , shapes and sizes  , it's fatality and the outcome borne by every individual.

Just a thought lingered to my mind whether Corona is a curse or a Bounty ????? 

Before putting anything in black and white, I empathize to the people who have lost their lives or have been struggling with the brunt of this virus. I even empathize with all the Corona warriors all over the world , be it from any sector of the society , Be it is said or not  the whole world shall always be indebted to the tireless efforts put into by each of them in this crisis.

Coming back to the question where I was :-

Corona be labelled as a curse or a Bounty ???? .. 

Branding it to be a Curse would be pretty straightforward since we all have seen the aftermath of the havoc created by it and there is no doubt about it . 

For a minute let's think about another facet which I am sure might have crossed in the thoughts of n number of people . As we all say what has Corona given us in a positive way ????

Just a simple answer ..... It has .... For sure 

Two things : 

1).  Re activated our power to think ... 

Think beyond the normal. Think beyond our regular words. Think beyond whats profit or loss and likewise many other so called little administrative tensions of day to day life. It empowered us to think beyond it being good or bad or may be right or wrong . Think on a cup of tea , or may be a first ray of sunlight. Corona has given us , our lives a pause .....a moment to think over the race , which unknowingly we are a part of. At times during the Lockdown when one saw the amazement and beauty of empty streets , a diverse experience to wake up everyday and think what to do today, digging deep in ourselves and unlocking those hidden treasures and talents which one possessed , but stacked somewhere beneath those heavy files and bags of office . Just to  understand that yes standing on the balcony and having a garam chai ki pyali is nothing less than divnity. A sense of introspection to find out what's there deep within us. Infact to think that somewhere during this merciless run we have hurted people who mattered the most. 

Such thoughts and alike these must have crossed our minds many a times but certainly found a solace today when we are amidst a lockdown . 

This power of thinking have surely opened our doors of mindset which had been jammed for a while with all those perpetual monetized rituals.

2) Given us an option to Be Human again.

Yes it has ...... For the past unremembered number of years  we were a machine ..... Yes no one would deny this fact. We were certainly. Disguised in the form of some routines to be followed day by day , leading that same monotonous , tusled corporate regime ....we had been so lost to the fact we were born humans and were supposed to live as humans , not as calender clock setting up from 6 am to ringing the bell till 11 pm. A heavy grind , a burning one for sure..... Suddenly we have been given a mover and shaker by the God , knocking our heads and saying Hello I made you a human , but you have turned into a machine , so I need to give you an overhaul which can turn you back to a human again . 

By being human I mean is to value our close ones and associates. As we say Charity begins at Home .. so if you want to check whether you are a human or not , a reality check begins from within the home , with the people we live . It's been a regular tendency to take our loved ones for granted . Be it choices , happiness or even sorrows. That's where the thing initiates. This pandemic has in a way given us an opportunity to rethink this Take- for - granted attitude. It's high time to consider that the ones who lives closest to you are to ones who deserves the max value. Let's begin with treating them like a human rather than an order borne machine . You know the things which gives our heart immense pleasure are the ones which are the most smallest in nature. Suddenly being around the family given us a pleasure never seemed before. Suddenly being in the kitchen gives a sense of a innovation which we never experienced even at the time of a pay raise, suddenly when you let your child learn a bicycle gives you that happiness which one could experience even when we were patted by the bosses for being good at work. To rebuild and re-define the bond which was left unaddressed because we were busy , we had no time , we never really thought it to be that important , but this is what really means , everything which can be termed as our world....... The best we are doing is building beautiful memories ....for our children , for our family , who need it the most - the most in the whole wide world . 

God has bestowed an armoury which we always fortake to be a loosely held one but which in fact is the strongest when it comes to battling your ways out in life. 

Once we revive our tags with our loved ones then comes our connections .people who during the course of this  tryst came across with different angles and validations. And the list goes on.

One human which is us and the rest of the world . That's what the equation is like . A chance, an opportunity to solve these difficult yet unsolved equations. 

So it's time to relive - rethink - rejoice this unspoken gift which  God has given us rather than cribbing of getting Locked. Thank you Corona for making us believe and revamp our real roots and our real strengths.  Our resolve to live a better life.
